The first creature to go into space.
63 years ago, on the third day of November, a dog named Laika was sent into space for a test mission. But that truth did not stop and return to Earthπ . Laika was the first dog to be orbited in a spacecraft orbiting the Soviet and NASA space program. The dog was trained and used as the only creature on board the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2, which was launched into space on November 3, 1957. This animal was caught on a certain street in Moscow. The animal was about three years old when caught on the street. The reason this animal is chosen is because it is well tamed, easy to train, and easy to adapt to the Sputnik 2 capsule. During the space test mission, the animal had enough food and water to sustain its life, but they did not want to bring the spacecraft or the animal back to Earth after the mission. In fact, that journey is either taking Laika to death or Laika's death sentence. Inside the Sputnik 2, there was a small space for Laika to sleep on and get upπππππ. The Sputnik 2 spacecraft with Laika was launched into space at 2 am on November 3. After arriving there, Laika lived in space for about seven hours, but some sources say that Laika's suffering lasted even longer, lasting about four daysπππ. The spacecraft carrying likha's body returned to orbit on April 13, 1958, five months after orbiting the Earth in 2.525 orbits. But when it returned to the atmosphere, it exploded and was destroyedπππππ. The first creature to go into space.π
